Matthew Belcrest
Throughout my life, I have always been an active person, playing whichever sport was in season throughout the year. Going into my sophomore year of high school, I began working with a strength and conditioning coach to improve my athletic performance. What started as a way to become a better athlete quickly grew into a passion for exercise and human performance, ultimately driving me to pursue a deeper understanding through my education.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science from the University of Michigan. During my time there, my understanding of exercise evolved beyond athletic performance and expanded into its role as a tool for improving health, well-being, and overall quality of life. The valuable experiences I gained through coursework, lab settings, and conversations with professionals across the exercise science field were integral in molding my perspective on exercise as a lifelong resource for individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with others and helping them use exercise as a tool to improve their health, enhance their quality of life, and achieve their personal goals.
